It is my desire to give you your Dream Brows, however, Brow services may not be best for you if you are or have experienced any of the conditions listed below:
- History of keloids or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation: Unfortunately, because Microblading/shading punctures the skin as we add pigment, we cannot work with clients with these conditions.
- Skin conditions on or near your eyebrows, including eczema, shingles, rashes or any other dermal conditions near eyebrows.
- Transmittable blood disease, such as HIV or Hepatitis: Again, Permanent Make Up Artists cut the skin, so it is our policy not to work with these conditions.
- Presence of facial dermal fillers in the serviced area: Depending on the timing, we recommend to get Microblading/shading done first. Alternatively, check with your doctor. Many artists may request a note from your doctor before permitting service.
- Clients who are taking anticoagulant medication will require the following pre and post treatments:
- A doctor's note permitting service
- Cease to take the anticoagulant medication at least 10 days prior to the procedure and up to 2 weeks post the procedure for optimal results.
- Patients undergoing chemotherapy: We require a doctor’s note to perform the procedure for anyone undergoing chemotherapy.
- You must be 18 or older to receive services.
Before Your Visit: - No Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 72 hours prior to your procedure. Only Tylenol is permitted.
- AVOID sun and tanning one week prior to your procedure.
- Discontinue Glycolic Acid, Retin-A or Retinol products 4 weeks before the scheduled appointment.
- DO NOT use AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) skincare products close to the enhancement area 2 weeks prior to and after your procedure.
- DO NOT consume any alcohol beverages 24 HOURS before the scheduled appointment. This will prevent any excess bleeding, oozing, and minimizes swelling during the procedure.
- If there are any open wounds, pimples, bruises, or any other skin irritations on the area; please wait for them to be completely healed before attending the scheduled appointment.
- Please contact immediately if rescheduling is necessary due to this matter.
- Do not wax, thread or tint your eyebrows one week before your procedure.
- No facials or chemical peels a week prior to the scheduled appointment.
Healing & Aftercare: - Do not let any water, lotion, anti-aging cream, soap or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure.
- No sun beds, tanning or physical activity during the first 7 days after your procedure.
- Itching and flaking may appear during the first 7 days. Peeling is normal during healing process. No rubbing! No picking!
- Avoid putting fingers over eyebrows for 7 days. This could cause an infection.
- Apply healing ointment provided the first 7 days. Use a q tip to apply ointment to eyebrows. Do not use your fingers!
- Avoid using petroleum jelly or Vaseline. Such substances can cause a reaction and clog your pores from breathing.
- Entire healing process will take 4-6 weeks, depending on your body's regeneration, age, immune system and lifestyle.
